Prelude

OIL ON CANVAS, 130 x 170 cm, 2026

INTRODUCTION

The silence before becoming

Prelude is an artwork about the moment before transformation. The figure seems suspended between stillness and awakening. Her gaze is calm, as if she is listening to something inner rather than looking outward. The oilpainting speaks about anticipation, intuition and the invisible tension that exists just before change takes form.

The Inner Voice
The model's face carries both softness and strength. It is a portrait of pure presence. Her expression invites the viewer into her mental space where memory and expectation meet.
The Butterflies
A prelude is an opening, a first movement. In this work, the buttergflies refer to the beginning of her emotional and creative journey. It is not the conclusion, but the moment before everything unfolds.
